What is MASTERING ?

Mastering is the final step after finishing the own production /mix, before it goes out to be published. It gives your music the full potential, tweak your productions with digital high end sound processing gear. Your tracks will gain more depth, volume, punch, and spectral balance, to sound great in and at every place to compare with the hits!  (at Radio ,Clubs ect.)

Loudness maximizing - with international accepted RMS levels. Correction of phase correlation.

Every master is created carefully with our digital audio mastering tools. We work carefully and individually on every master until we are satisfied with it!

The producer/musician should give us only unmastered tracks for mastering!

PROCEDURE - 4 EASY STEPS:

Procedure - What to do & how it works!

Please read the 4 easy steps below with specific Informations.

STEP 1. - PREPARE YOUR TRACKS:

Finish your production and prepare your track(s)

After mixing your music you have to prepare your track(s) for the mastering process. Please render / mixdown your tracks as WAV in 24 bit /44 kHz

Name your WAV-files like: YOUR-TITLE - (MIXNAME)

Very important: Please DO NOT perform any kind of pre-mastering on your mixdown! Dont add any multiband ,dynamics ,compressors or limiters on the sum! That would complicate themastering process and probably gives worse results! Make your mix sound as good as you can without it.

Please leave at least 4 db headroom. That means the peaks of the signal should not exceed the - 4db mark.

Dithering: Please do not dither.

Generally: If the unmastered mix itself is good , so much the better will be the Master.

STEP 2. - UPLOAD YOUR TRACKS:

After preparing your music for the mastering process, please upload your unmastered track(s) at a service like:

After this we will send you a confirmation email that we received your track(s)

STEP 3. - MASTERING PROCESS:

We starting the digital audio mastering process of your track. Every master is created carefully with our digital audio mastering tools.

We work carefully and individually on every master until  we are satisfied with it!

Usually it takes 1-3 days of work for 1-2 tracks to master. It depends on how much orders we have. Sometimes a mastering job for 1-2 tracks can also be done in 1-2 days

Its really different from song to song. Generally: A good master take a little bit time!

After mastering one of your tracks we will create a 40 sec. mp3 preview of the mastered version for you to hear! So you can hear the difference and how your music benefits from our digital audio mastering!

Its NO  Money risk for you: If you dont like the mastered 40 sec. preview you dont have to pay! We will stop working on it and leave the project.
